A Brief History
Gifts For Our Community is a nonprofit organization that provides resources to our community in the areas of human services, education and the arts.
In 1997, a group of executive directors came together to create the Holiday Shop, a seasonal holiday gift and decor retail store run by community volunteers.
In 2005, the board made the decision to open Divine Consign, a year round consignment store operated by volunteers where the community could consign or donate gently used furniture. When donated furniture is sold a share of the proceeds may go to the donor’s recommended favorite charity.
b. divine clothing boutique opened in April, 2013. Women’s clothing and accessories are donated to this program. The store is located at 1218 NE 88th St. in Hazel Dell. All proceeds will be returned to the community to support the good work being done by our wonderful community charities.
All proceeds are distributed to community charities through grants.
