A Brief History

Gifts For Our Community is a nonprofit organization in Vancouver, WA providing resources to Clark County non-profits in the areas of human services, education and the arts.

Gifts for our Community Header

In 1997, a group of executive directors created the Holiday Shop, a seasonal holiday gift and decor retail store run by community volunteers with proceeds benefiting Clark County non-profit organizations.

In 2005, we opened Divine Consign Furniture, a year round consignment store operated by volunteers. The community can consign or donate gently used furniture and home decor items. When donated furniture is sold, a share of the proceeds may go to the donor’s recommended favorite charity or remain with Divine Consign. Consigned item proceeds are collected and awarded once a year through a grant application process.

b.divine clothing boutique opened in April, 2013.  Women’s clothing and accessories are donated to this program. The store is located downstairs at 904 Main St, Vancouver WA inside Divine Consign Furniture. All proceeds are returned to the community to support the good work being done by our wonderful Clark County charities.

Proceeds from Divine Consign Furniture and bdivine clothing are distributed to community charities through grants once a year through a grant process.
