Non-Profits in Clark County, Washington

Register Your Non-profit

Please complete the agreement that authorizes Divine Consign Furniture/Gifts For Our Community to accept and facilitate donations of household goods on behalf of your organization.

We welcome all nonprofit organizations in SW Washington. We’re here to help you raise funds for your organization if you provide services in the areas of human services, education or the arts.

We are proud to have donated to over 220 nonprofit organizations listed below.

How does your organization receive donations?

A donor specifies their furniture/home decor items are donations to your organization. Divine Consign Furniture provides an in-kind tax deduction receipt. In order to issue an in-kind tax receipt where the donor may deduct the full value of the item(s), IRS regulations dictate that Divine Consign Furniture/Gifts For Our Community be in complete control of the donation. As per IRS regulations, we cannot be legally obligated to share the donations.

However, in line with our goal of connecting community organizations to funding, we do make gifts of proceeds from the final sale of the donation. The donor may recommend that Divine Consign Furniture share a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their items with a named non-profit.

When your organization is issued a check from Divine Consign Furniture/Gifts For Our Community as recommended by the donor, you will receive a share of the final selling price and will be provided the name and contact (address) information of the donor.

Once you have received the check from Divine Consign Furniture, please:

  1. Send a prompt thank you note to the person listed on the form attached to the check.
  2. Take care that NO TAX RECEIPT is issued by your organization to the donor. Divine Consign has already provided an in-kind receipt allowing them to declare and deduct the total value of the donated item(s). Receiving an additional tax receipt would provide the donor with two deductions for the same donation. This would constitutes fraud. Please make any necessary changes in your donation processing to prevent this from happening.
  3. Help us raise funds for your organization. Remind your board members, staff & newsletter recipients that when they bring gently used furniture and household goods to us, they may request that a portion of the selling price be made on your behalf.

We look forward to partnering with you in this process of providing resources to the community for human services, arts and education.

If you have any questions please call Divine Consign at (360) 695-6443
