Where Our Proceeds Go

The mission of Gifts for Our Community (dba Divine Consign) is to provide resources to nonprofits throughout Clark County that support critical services in the areas of arts, education, and human services. Nonprofit organizations play a vital role in building healthy communities by providing critical services that contribute to economic stability and mobility. Clark County’s more than 3,000 nonprofits feed, heal, shelter, educate, inspire, enlighten, and nurture people of every age, gender, race, and socioeconomic status.

Divine Consign opens an annual grant application process to Clark County nonprofits. Grants are awarded for projects in the areas of arts, education and human services. Please see our Grants page for more information.

For more than 15 years, Divine Consign has been helping Clark County nonprofit organizations. As the only nonprofit of its kind in Washington, Divine Consign’s staff and volunteers work with community members to consign or donate gently-used furniture, home decor, and clothing.

When a donated item is sold, the proceeds are sent to the donor's chosen nonprofit or, if preferred, the funds are given to Divine Consign to source back into the community. Additionally, to further support the community’s needs, Divine Consign utilizes their resources to furnish: homes for individuals facing homelessness, nonprofit offices, and more. In 2021, Divine Consign also utilized their consigned items to create a winter wonderland for photos with Santa to ensure all children can feel the holiday spirit, regardless of their family’s financial means.

In the last two decades, Divine Consign has donated more than $2,000,000 to nonprofits in Clark County that have supported hundreds of thousands of individuals in need. In 2021 alone, Divine Consign donated $80,000 to more than 25 nonprofits in Clark County.

Divine Consign relies on the support of a team of 30 dedicated volunteers. These volunteers receive consigned and donated items, operate the Divine Consign showroom in downtown Vancouver, maintain inventory stage the showroom and windows, organize items for donation to other nonprofits, customer service and so much more. We could not be as successful as we are without the hours of work and support from wonderful volunteers.
